Fictional example: a manual gate that does not close properly
A customer reports that a manual gate at a commercial property is difficult to operate. The employee creates an assignment, describes the reported fault and records its actual condition before work.
The check is adapted to the task: customer expectations, access, required competence, equipment and conditions at the workplace. When the job needs an SJA, its work steps, hazards and selected measures are recorded separately.
Distinguish agreed work from matters needing clarification
During the visit, the employee records work performed, parts or materials used and checks completed. Work beyond the agreed task is recorded as something to clarify with the customer.
A finding can lead to an action with a named person and due date. The app does not grant competence or permission for specialist work, and an industry starter does not approve a work method.
A report the customer can use afterwards
The final check describes function, the work delivered and any further follow-up. Selected check responses and before/after photos can be gathered in the report once relevant files have been received and verified.
Your company reviews the preview and sends the downloaded PDF itself. The report shows documented work and outstanding items, without automatic customer acceptance.
